Celebrate the Horse was a collaborative exhibit and fundraiser for Methow Valley Riding Unlimited, a non-profit organization that provides a unique therapeutic riding program called Let’Em Ride. I was very pleased that two of my  horse paintings were selected for this exciting exhibit. Washington State’s 2015 wildfire season has been the most severe in history. As an amazing demonstration of resilience and community pride, this exhibit opening was one of Confluence Gallery’s most successful after the town had to evacuate the week earlier due to approaching fires.

“This exhibit will feature the connection between human and horse.  Horses have been part of the human story for much of history. They assist us in so many ways……We want to “Celebrate the Horse!”
