Need inspiration for taking your writing to the next level?

An all-day seminar with A.C. Fuller—Saturday, August 5th, 2017, 9 am to 5:30 pm

Whether you are close to finishing a first draft or just looking for inspiration to get through your next chapter, join us for an intimate, daylong workshop with A.C. Fuller. The day includes a crash-course in story structure and character arc and personalized help in applying it to your own story during hands-on outlining and plotting. Finally, A.C. will share his insights on work and family life, procrastination, and the inner critic to help you continue the work when you get home.

Schedule

9:00 to 12:00: Master Your Story, a crash-course in story structure and character
12:00 to 12:45: Lunch provided by Gamble Creek
12:45 to 3:15: Outlining your story and defining character arcs, including 15 minutes of one-on-one consulting with A.C.
3:15 to 3:30: Break
3:30 to 4:30: What Keeps Us From Writing
4:30 to 5:30: Informal discussion and Q&A over wine and refreshments about the publishing landscape

Details

Class Size: Limited to 10, so register early
Cost: $145 per person, which includes:

  • 5 hours of formal workshop time
  • coffee, tea and pastries upon arrival, a catered lunch, and refreshments at breaks
  • wine or non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks in the evening

A.C. Fuller is the author of the media thrillers The Anonymous Source, The Inverted Pyramid, and The Mockingbird Drive. He’s also the creator and host of the WRITER 2.0 Podcast, a weekly interview show featuring award-winning writers and publishing experts. He teaches writing around the country and internationally, including workshops for the Pacific Northwest Writers Association, the Write on the Sound Conference, and the Royal City Literary Arts Society. From 2006 to 2008 he was an adjunct professor of journalism at NYU, and he now teaches English at Northwest Indian College near Seattle.
